Events resulting in damages may occur in any environment. Traffic accidents are not the only type of accident whose responsibility may be attributed to the employer, medical failure and occupational accidents also occur (damage to property and personal damage). It is also the employer's obligation to fit out facilities so that accidents do not occur. The employer is responsible more often than people usually think. For this reason, investigating both parties is always advisable.
Often, there is a liability insurance policy, and the insurance company covers the payment of the compensation. In consequence, in addition to the victim, the employer or entrepreneur may also request compensation for damages; for example, when the employer must continue paying the salary during an employee's leave.
Companies are often confronted with insurance-related disputes. Does the complaint filed have sufficient grounds? According to the insurance policy, is there any collection right, or can the insurance company recourse to a waiver? We also negotiate these issues and reach settlements with insurance companies, and bring legal action for the plaintiff or defendant, when necessary.
