Liability for Injuries

It is certainly inevitable that accidents happen in the workplace and while driving. If you have suffered damages resulting from an accident (traffic or other), in many cases it is possible to receive an indemnification from the one who caused it.

It may follow that, as a result of this injury, for any period of time including the rest of your life, you cannot generate the same income that you would have had there not been an accident. That you cannot continue working or that your work capabilities are limited; for example, that you cannot be promoted or you have lower chances of promotion, or that you lose a salary increase when receiving a benefit or social subsidy derived from the accident.

No doubt, in case of injuries, it is important to seek professional help as soon as possible for that reason: our experience indicates that the road to indemnification for injuries can be long and exhausting and, moreover, can have considerable mental consequences that not only you but with the people around you will also suffer. The consequences can damage your career, incapacitate you for work, and include permanent disability.

We will analyse with you who is to be held liable for the damages suffered, and we will make the responsible party answer for them. In many cases, the insurer of the person who caused the accident is in charge of processing the case. If they have not taken responsibility, Gimbrère International Advocaten can turn to the judiciary.
